Aconitum carmichaelii arendsii is an old-fashioned hardy border plant and great for planting under shrubs. It has a very special relationship with Bumble Bees, as they’re one of the few insects able to reach the nectar hidden deep inside the arched hooded flower. Blooming late summer early autumn they make stunning long lasting cut flowers for indoor arrangements. Plant these with some Japanese anemones, to give your garden a new lease of life in late summer.
