Achillea Parker's Variety produces hundreds of tiny golden-yellow flowers densely packed together to form clusters of large flat headed flower heads. This variety is prized for its aromatic, highly decorative, fern-like, grey-green foliage. It spreads slowly to form large clumps. It's very easy to grow and drought tolerant once established. Irresistible to butterflies and bees, the flowers are also excellent for using in fresh and dried flower arrangements.

How to take care of Achillea filipendulina Parkers Variety

Achillea filipendulina Parkers Variety are hardy herbaceous plants that prefer sun but will tolerate some shade in warmer areas. Plant in a rich, cool, moisture retentive well drained soil, loosen up the topsoil, and fertilize with some organic fertiliser once established. Dry soil can stunt growth. Your soil should be improved by adding compost and peat to make it slightly acidic. Let the plant die down naturally and divide every 3 to 4 years, in early spring. PLEASE NOTE: All parts of Achillea filipendulina Parkers Variety are harmful if eaten and can irritate the skin. Wear gloves when handling Achillea filipendulina Parkers Variety and should not be planted near vegetables.

Please soak the bare roots for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
