Allium Combo Nigrum/atropurpureum dislike been disturbed, so leave Allium Combo Nigrum/atropurpureum for few years untouched. Divide clumps in autumn every 3-4 years of so. You can improve heavy soil by mixing in some builders sand. Place Allium Combo Nigrum/atropurpureum bulbs with the 'nose' upward into the soil. Always water well after planting to stimulate growth. For best results, as the buds materialize, add a high potash liquid feed in early spring to fertilize.
