This vibrant pink Astilbe will add drama to dull areas of the garden.
This vibrant pink Astilbe will add drama to dull areas of the garden. Astilbes have glorious arching fragrant plumes made up of tiny flowers in mid-summer. They are clump-forming perennial plants with deep rich, glossy fern-like foliage which is finely dissected with crinkly-edges. They are ideal for shady spots and moist areas in your garden or for patio planters. They make excellent cut flowers and are deer resistant.

How to take care of Astilbe arendsii Pink
Plant Prachtspiere rosa in well-prepared moist soil; mix the topsoil with 50% potting compost. Plant the tubers according to the instruction on the package not showing above the ground and cover well. Prachtspiere rosa prefer a sunny to partially shady position and must not be allowed to dry out. In warmer climates a thick mulch layer of well-rotted manure helps the soil to retain moisture, and in colder areas it will help protect again frost damage. Flowers will appear all summer. Divide well-established clumps every 4 years.
