This striking orange Azalea puts on a showy display for over a month in spring with its dazzling orange flowers blooming all at once; it flowers so abundantly that the foliage is barely visible underneath so many flowers. The foliage is deep green turning to a beautiful vivid red in autumn.
They are easy to grow and require very little maintenance. Supplied as young specimens.

How to take care of Azalea mollis Orange
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. Choose a sheltered position in sun to light shade. Prepare planting site well by adding plenty of peaty potting compost. Ensure the root ball is no more than 3cm below the surface of the soil. (If it is planted too deep it can stunt the growth or even kill the plant) Azaleas will thrive in acidic, moist, but well drained soil. Azalea Mollis will grow to a height of 1.4m and has fragrant flowers in late spring followed by rich foliage. Prune by breaking off dead flowers with your fingers. IMPORTANT WARNING All parts of the plant are poisonous, do not eat.
