How to take care of Canna Tarouking
Bluhmenrohr Tarouking like to be planted in rich fertile peaty soil when all danger of frost has passed. They can also be planted in containers but need repotting frequently so that they are well nourished in fertile soil. Plant Bluhmenrohr Tarouking horizontally with the eyes facing up. Apply a layer of mulch after planting to conserve moisture and prevent weeds from growing. Bluhmenrohr Tarouking require plenty of water in summer and fertilize once a month with any soluble 10-10-10 fertilizer. Remove the faded flower heads as they appear as this helps to promote new growth. In autumn cut off the foliage and dig up the rhizomes. Clean off any soil and store them in something like damp, ground and composted bark, in a cool frost free place over winter. If planted in containers cut Bluhmenrohr Tarouking to ground level in winter and store them in a greenhouse, keep them lightly watered and fed until next late spring.
