How to take care of Chinese cabbage Michihili
Plant from mid until late summer 2.5cm deep in rows 50cm apart. Chinese cabbage will run to seed if planted early therefore do not sow too early and do not transplant. Cabbages do best in a sunny location with reasonably firm soil. They do not do well in very acid soil, if your soil is acid then apply lime during soil preparation. For best results dig in plenty of well rotted manure or compost the autumn before planting time (this must be done months before planting). Harvest approx 70 days after sowing by cutting or pulling up the whole plant.
