Grown for it's spectacular autumn colour it's foliage turns ffrom dark green to cerise pink and fiery red (hence the name Burning bush). This deciduous, dense and bushy shrub also produces attractive reddish-purple winged seed pods. Grows up to 2.5 m in 5 years it prefers alkaline soils.

How to take care of Euonymus alatus Burning Bush P9
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. Plant it in well-drained soil in sun or semi-shade, and water well after planting. If possible choose a position that is not exposed to prolonged cold winds. Prune hard to encourage new growth at any time except spring. Pinch out the tips of shoots to encourage bushy growth. Euonymus can ultimately grow as high as 2.5mt. ALL PARTS OF THIS PLANT ARE HARMFUL IF EATEN.
