Contents
This pack contains 10 Fritillaria Uva Vulpis bulbs.
Growth habit and size
A compact fritillary that typically grows to 10–20 cm tall and reaches its full size within one year. In early spring it produces nodding, bell-shaped flowers in a purple-red and yellow bicolour, often with several blooms per bulb.
Plant care
Good drainage is key. Plant the bulbs on their side and use sand in and around the planting hole to help water move away freely. A sunny spot supports strong growth.

Instructions
Plant the bulbs outdoors in a sunny spot.
Choose a well-drained, preferably stony soil; add some sand to the planting hole to improve drainage.
Place the bulb on its side so the hollow crown does not hold water, and surround it with coarse sand.
Plant at about 8 cm deep and space around 10 cm apart.
Avoid letting the fleshy scales dry out before planting.
Feed with organic fertiliser in early spring.
For the best effect, plant in groups of 5–7 bulbs.
