How to take care of Osteospermum Purple
They are suitable for rockeries or at the foot of a south-facing wall where they make a quick ground cover with abundant flowers. Plant them after all danger of frost had passed in well-drained soil. Remove dead flowers heads as they fade to prolong flowering. They are best grown in pots in a greenhouse or conservatory at a temperature of 7ºC. They like a sunny position and water sparingly. Fertilize regularly throughout the summer using liquid fertilizer. Alternatively use slow release fertilizer pellets mixed through the soil.
