Aster lateriflorus Horizontalis has won awards for its outstanding excellence. It’s an exceptional late summer/ autumn compact clump-forming perennial producing masses of tiny white and pale purple flowers with dark green leaves on strong purple, horizontal branching stems.
Suitable for brightening up borders when other plants have had their season. Attracts many beneficial insects including bees and butterflies and is less susceptible to mildew than other Aster plants.

How to take care of Aster lateriflorus Horizontalis
Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Choose a position in an open sunny spot. Can be also grown in semi or deep shade such as under bushier plants. Keep watered during the first three months to help get it settled in its new position. Add a slow-release fertiliser tablet around the base for best results in the growing season. Autumn flowering plants are best divided in spring. Cut back in late autumn when all the flowers have faded.
