Instructions
Follow the planting instructions printed on each pack. Place taller varieties towards the back and lower varieties towards the front. Plant in groups in well-drained soil and work in organic fertiliser to around 30 cm depth. Plant between mid-April and the end of May, at a depth of 2–3 times the bulb height. Water well after planting and repeat a few times during the first month, soaking the soil rather than wetting the plants. Feed during the growing season with NPK 12-10-18. In autumn, lift and store any non-hardy bulbs in a cool, frost-free place and protect bulbs from mice. Replant in spring. Remove dead leaves regularly and divide plants every 3–4 years to prevent overcrowding.
