Tulip Collection In 3 Colours x 30
Tulip Collection In 3 Colours x 30
Tulip Collection In 3 Colours is a carefully selected mix of tulips designed to give a balanced, elegant look in spring. With 30 bulbs in total, it’s an easy way to create a coordinated display with plenty of flowers for the garden and for cutting.
Location
Best grown outdoors, where the mix can be planted in groups to create a coordinated spring display.
Contents
A collection of 30 tulip bulbs made up of three varieties: Tulip triumph ‘Mistress’, Tulip triumph ‘Passionale’ and Tulip ‘White Prince’.
Plant care
Plant at around 8–10 cm deep in well-worked soil. Feed with an organic fertiliser in early spring after frost and once more during growth and flowering. The flowers are less suitable for people with pollen allergies, and the sap can irritate skin.
Pruning and maintenance
Remove faded blooms after flowering. Allow the foliage to mature until it begins to discolour, then lift and dry the bulbs for cool, dry storage; for replanting, keep the largest bulbs.
Winter hardiness
Very hardy, with a minimum temperature tolerance down to –25°C.

Instructions
Plant the bulbs about 8–10 cm deep in well-worked soil.
Feed in early spring just after frost with an organic fertiliser, and repeat during growth and flowering.
Remove spent flowers after flowering.
Let the foliage die back naturally; when it starts to discolour, lift the bulbs with the foliage still attached.
Once the foliage has dried, remove it and store the bulbs dry and cool until autumn.
Replant only the largest bulbs; flowering can be less impressive in the second year.
