Climbing Rose Collection Pink/Red/Yellow 20-30 cm
Climbing Rose Collection Pink/Red/Yellow 20-30 cm
Rosa is a climbing rose collection in mixed pink, red and yellow tones, chosen to bring vertical colour and a classic, decorative feel to outdoor spaces.
Location
Place these climbers in a sunny position outdoors, in well-drained soil. They are ideal for growing up a wall, fence or pergola where they can be trained onto a support.
Contents
This set includes three bare-root climbing roses: Golden Showers, New Dawn and Pauls Scarlet.
Growth habit and size
With a naturally climbing habit, these roses are made to be guided upward to create height and a strong vertical line in the garden. In time they can reach around 2–3 m.
Plant care
Plant at around 30 cm depth and allow about 100 cm between plants so each rose has room to develop. After planting, water well, especially during the first period while the roots settle in.
Pruning and maintenance
Prune in March–April. Regularly guiding and loosely tying in the shoots along their support helps keep growth tidy and makes best use of the available space.
Winter hardiness
This collection is hardy down to around –20°C.
