Climbing Rose Golden Shower 20-30 cm
Climbing Rose Golden Shower 20-30 cm
Rosa ‘Golden Shower’ is a classic climbing rose for bringing height and structure to the garden, perfect for training over walls, fences, pergolas or arches with a soft, sunny touch in summer.
Location
Choose a sunny place outdoors. This climbing rose is best used where it can be trained along a wall, fence, pergola or arch to create vertical coverage.
Growth habit and size
With support, it forms long climbing shoots and develops into a strong vertical plant. When established, it can reach around 2–3 m, depending on the support provided.
Plant care
Plant in well-drained soil and give water after planting. In the early period, keep the soil lightly moist. For an even shape, guide new shoots along the support as they grow.
Pruning and maintenance
Prune in March–April. As it grows, lead the longer shoots along wires or a frame and tie in loosely where needed to cover the chosen surface evenly.
Winter hardiness
Hardy down to –20°C.
