How to take care of Standard Campsis Fire Trumpet Vine
Plant in a large planter with drainage holes and place a layer of pebbles in the bottom of the pot to ensure good drainage or it can be planted directly into the ground. It prefers a chalky soil and a sunny well sheltered position. Stake the shrub until it is strong enough to withstand the wind itself. Prune into shape in Feb. - March. During harsh winters you may need to bring pot grown trees indoors to an unheated room until it warms up.
