Hamamelis x Intermedia Pallida

Hamamelis x intermedia 'Pallida' is a cross between Japanese and chinese witch hazel and is an excellent choice for adding a splash of colour during the dark winter months. In autumn the bright green leaves turn spectacular shades of yellow, orange and red before falling and pale yellow spidery flowers with a delicate fragrance appear on the bare branches throughout the winter. It's more upright that other varieties, making it a good specimen plant and can also be effective when planted in groups in a shrub border.
