Viburnum opulus Compactum is a very decorative deciduous shrub, blooming mid-spring with huge flat-topped flowers, which turn gradually to brilliant white as the season progresses. It’s fast growing and a very prolific shrub. It has attractive fiery red berries later in the season and can be used as a hedge too!
In general, most viburnums are relatively pest-free.

How to take care of Viburnum opulus Compactum
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. This is a hardy deciduous shrub. They are easy to grow and make a lovely feature in a border. Viburnum prefers a sunny or partially shady area. They flower from age 1-3 years onwards in mid spring with beautiful white flowers. Pruning: is not really necessary, you may take out old and damaged branches in spring to ground level.
