How to take care of Clematis Piilu
This Clematis loves a fertile soil in semi-shade. The base of the plant should always be in the shade (use some pot shards if necessary). Remove the plant and spread out the roots into a spacious hole of about 12x12x12inch. Mix the soil with some potting soil. Press the soil around the roots and give plenty of water. Place some bamboo sticks around and attach the upgrowing vines. When the plant starts to grow it will attach itself with small grabbing fingers. The Clematis Piilu is a clematis which you can prune lightly in June directly after the first bloom. You can fertilise in spring and during the flowering period with some organic fertiliser.
