How to take care of Hydrangea paniculata Sundae frase 9 cm pot

Hydrangeas require moist soil enriched with organic matter such as peat. They thrive best in partial shade. Choose a sheltered position against a wall or under a tree, but avoid hedges. Protect against severe frosts in winter. Do not remove the dead heads from the flowers, leave them in place as they will protect the plant from frost. They can be pruned immediately after flowering as flower buds are formed on the previous season's growth to maintain a specific height. In spring, feed the confirmed plants with fertiliser and apply a thick layer of mulch to protect the roots. Its colour is strongly affected by the PH and aluminium levels in the soil. Fertiliser can be added in spring to improve colour. Be careful, though, as in colder regions, flower buds can freeze if the plant is too exposed, so always choose a well-considered location for them.
