How to take care of Lilium oriental Mix x 3
Plant lilies bulbs immediately upon arrival, be very careful not break off any stalks or growth. They work best in an organic well-drained soil when planting, surround with a little sharp sand around the bulb (under and above) to keep slugs away and to protect against excessive wetness. They give a much better display when planted in groups. Lily bulbs will greatly appreciate the shelter of low growing shrubs or other plants near their roots they like cool roots. In active growth, apply water freely and feed every two weeks with a high potash liquid fertilizer. Remove flower heads after flowering, let stem die off naturally and then remove it. By doing this you will feed the bulb the energy it needs to flower again next year. If lilies are planted in pots, keep the pots free from frost.
