How to take care of Melon Oranje Ananas
Grow in a sheltered spot on your terrace or in the garden. Plant in slightly acidic soil (without lime)! A general rhododendron potting soil will be perfect. Always ensure good drainage, preferably using rainwater to water the plant, and don't let the compost dry out. During spring and summer, fertilize regularly with an organic fertilizer. This plant is resistant to cold, but not to frost. If the temperature drops below 10°C, immediately protect the trunk with a winter veil. For potted plants, keep the pot in a bright spot, such as a windowsill, but away from direct sunlight. Around mid-October and late November, the leaves start to turn brown, but don't worry, they'll start to grow again in spring.
