Nepeta Six Hills Giant is one of the tallest catmints, its a vigorous bushy clump-forming perennial with masses of slender spikes of lavender-blue summer flowers and attractive aromatic, sage-green leaves.
Catmint sends cats crazy. They just love to roll around the aromatic grey green leaves. Ideal for the front of a herbaceous or mixed border or as an edging plant.

How to take care of Nepeta faassenii Six Hills Giant
Known as catnip or catmint. Nepeta will tolerate most soil types although it prefers a slightly acidic soil in full sun or part shade. This variety likes fairy dry conditions. May need support underneath to prevent stems flopping over in wind and rain. Plants should be cut back after flowering to ensure they keep their compact shape and encourage a second flowering. Do not fertilise this plant as it will become too leggy. Divide plants in spring. Cats can be prevented from flattening plants if twiggy sticks are inserted into the soil around plants.
