How to take care of Pumpkin red Etampes
Fill the compartments of the tray with soil. Sow the seeds and cover with a thin layer of compost. Moisten with a fine water mist. Place the whole set in a moderately warm, sunny spot indoors. When the plants are approx. 4 - 5 cm (1-2in) or have 3 leaves, they should be transplanted into pots with a diameter of 10 cm (4in). Fertilise the every two weeks with some liquid fertilizer. When they are 10-12 cm (4-5in) tall, transplant them into the garden. Prepare the planting site well. Dig a hole of 30 x 30 x 30cm (12in) in a sunny spot and fill the hole with compost enriched with organic fertilizer. Plant the young plant water well. Note; for best results: Water frequently and fertilize every week with a good liquid fertilizer. Giant Pumpkins need a lot of water and food!
