How to use DCM Potting soil for Bonsai 2.5 ltr
·How to repot: Choose the right pot:Because bonsai trees are grown in a small pot, it is advisable to transplant yearly in DCM bonsai soil. For proper development of your bonsai i.e. essential balance between the roots and foliage. Therefore, pruning or shortening after transplanting unwanted branches will help.Choose a pot with drainage holes, so that excess water can drain freely.Fill the pot 1/3 with DCM bonsai potting soil, make a mound at the place where the stem is inserted.Remove the bonsai from the old pot and loosen the roots gently, removing as much soil as possible out without damaging the roots. Cut out the unwanted long roots way, but make sure that there remain sufficient roots.Place the bonsai in the pot and push it firmly but gently on the soil. Spread the roots open.Fill the pot with potting soil further and work the soil well in among the roots. Press the soil tight and give lot of water for a good contact between the roots and the soil. This promotes the growth of the plant after the repotting. Give your bonsai regularly water, and pour every two weeks abundantly until the water flows out of the pot. One week, give plenty of water and fertilize the next week. Fertilize your bonsai with DCM bonsai fertilizer. This long-acting liquid fertilizer contains organic nutrients and ensures a quiet and compact growth.

The water spreads evenly over the whole pot so that an equally perfect guard between air and liquid is possible in the soil. Thus the roots remain firm and your bonsai is armed for a long life.
