Clematis Princess Diana is a stunning late flowering clematis, it produces striking magenta pink tulip-shaped flowers with lighter pink margins and prominent pale yellow stamens. Clematis Princess Diana blooms vigorously and the flowers are very long lasting.
This Clematis belongs to the texensis group. Prune Group 3, it blooms in late summer/autumn so you can prune it hard in early spring. All shoots can be pruned right back to the previous years wood just above the plants base.

How to take care of Clematis Princess Diana
Soak your plants as soon as they arrive. Plant this Clematis so that the crown is level with the surface of the soil, in well-drained soil. Add a generous amount of grit to the bottom of the hole when planting and make sure that the roots are always shaded. Grow against a strong trellis or support. This variety belongs to pruning group 3 this means it should be pruned hard in late winter or early spring. All shoots can be pruned right back to the previous years wood just above the plants base.
